1 Carrier/rack problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2022

I seen where there was a recall on the roof rack covers on Explorers. Mine on my passenger side blew off in the wind. Should my vehicle have been in this recall. Karla davis.

2 Carrier/rack problem

Failure Date: 03/25/2021

Today I noticed that the trim on my windshield was cracked, broken and falling off. My car has about 40k miles on it and would not have expected this to fall apart already. This past year I may have driven my car 5000 miles. It has not been in any storms or eight wind situations. I have been hearing a strange noise in the front but did not connect this to a trim molding issue. It is dangerous because it could fly off and hit a pedestrian, motorcycle rider or bicycle rider or even another vehicle.

3 Carrier/rack problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2020

Roof rack continually pops loose while driving.

4 Carrier/rack problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2019

The top cap on the drivers side (where the luggage rack is) came completely off while driving on the highway. The passenger side one keep coming loose. This is a safety hazard, as the piece that flew off could have injured someone or worse. This is not a safe piece on the SUV and needs to be addressed, as many, many people have complained about this issue.
