The contact owns a 2012 Ford Explorer. That contact stated that the silver plastic strip on the driver's side power window switch chipped away, creating the potential to cut her finger. No warning lights were illuminated on the instrument panel prior to the failure being experienced. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to customer satisfaction program 22b37, but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was undisclosed.
