One problem related to door latch has been reported for the 2000 Ford Explorer Sport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Door latch/locking assembly stopped functioning. Consumer was unable to open the door from the outside or inside. Dealership replaced the entire locking assembly, and indicated that this was a common problem with these trucks.
