One problem related to turn signal flasher unit has been reported for the 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
This is an intermittent problem. Depending on the position of the steering wheel, the turn signal arm does not stay in position, and the turn signal does not operate. In order to make it work you have to turn the steering wheel to another position and try again.
