When the consumer placed the vehicle in reverse there was sudden acceleration, causing vehicle to hit a telephone pole. The consumer then placed the vehicle into drive, and it stayed in full throttle, causing the contact's vehicle to hit another vehicle. The day that the accident occurred it was slightly raining.
