Engine Oil Leaking problems of the 1996 Ford F-150

1 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2002

Consumer states he notice that the oil pan rusted causing a leak. Ts the consumer feels that this part should be recalled. Scc.

2 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2002

Oil pan is deteriorating, causing oil leakage. The oil pan gasket is not seated properly. This allows the oil to seep. The problem was evaluated by consumers personal mechanic.

3 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 12/11/1998

Engine oil pan was leaking due to severe rust/corrosion. Manufacturer notified and informed consumerthat vehicle was out of warranty and repairs would be at consumer's cost.

4 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 11/18/1997

When the vehicle is parked there is oil leaking from under the vehicle. The dealer has replaced the mufler assembly and problem still exists.
