One problem related to conventional parking brake has been reported for the 1997 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Pulled into the driveway which was on a slight incline, put on the emergency parking brake, and went inside to change clothes. Came back outside vehicle was across the street, and hit a tree. Contacted the dealer a third time. The same situation happened to son twice.
