One problem related to rear seat belt has been reported for the 1997 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consmer's 4-year lod grand daughter was occupying the rear passenger's side seat belt when she tried to get out, the seat belt tightened. The belt had tightened so tight that the 4-year old could not breath, some how the belt had rapped around the child twice. Consumer had to cut the belt off with a pair of scissors.
