Sway Bar problems of the 1998 Ford F-150

Two problems related to sway bar have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Sway Bar problem

Failure Date: 09/08/2010

The contact owns a 1998 Ford f150. While driving the contact heard a noise at the vehicle front end. When he examined the vehicle he noticed the front suspension sway bar was missing eight bushings. The contact repaired the vehicle. The failure and the current mileage were 42,000.

2 Sway Bar problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2004

Consumer replaced tires five times before it was discovered there were two pieces missing from the sway bar. Consumer stated that dealer for vehicle could not find the defects. However , the Dodge dealer found the defect.
