general problems of the 1998 Ford F-150

October 13,2018 entire wheel assembly driver front wheel came off while driving on hwy 64 rocky mount north carolina, cause my truck to hit guard rail, the air bag did not deploy which cause me serious injury to my neck, I did not have the protection of the air bag.

The contact owns a 1998 Ford F-150. The contact took the vehicle to a local mechanic to have the tires replaced however, the contact was advised that three of the four rims were fractured. The dealer was notified of the failure, but denied any assistance with repair to the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 190,000 and the current mileage was 195,000.

Rear wheel and tire fell off of vehicle resulting in vehicle rollover accident.
