: the contact stated the door locks failed to operate normally using the key fob. The locks must be manually opened or closed. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic who determined the actuator needed to be replaced. The contact made several attempts to purchase a used actuator from local junk yards without success.
Electric door locks lock by themselves with or without the key in the ignition. If locked, cannot be unlocked by pulling up on the unlock stem.
