Vehicle accelerated suddenly and unexpectedly, resulting in a collision/ minor injury. Dealer was inspecting vehicle, and manufacturer has been notified.
Upon starting vehicle and putting into gear, vehicle had instant acceleration. Rpms went from 1000 to 4500 without hitting the accelerator. This happened while foot was on the brake pedal.
Whil backing into a driveway vehicle took off in reverse. Driver had to shift into park gear in order to stop vehicle. Dealer has vehicle currently.
