Tire size p255/65r17, driving home when rear tire failed, side wall ruptured in three separate places .

I purchased firestone destination 20 inch truck tires, have only a few thousand miles on them and the sidewall blew out on the freeway almost causing a roll over.

3 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 08/13/2006

Tonight driving down two lane highway at approximately 50 to 55 mph and for no apparent reason drivers rear tire failed. The sidewall of tire blew out. Luckily it was on the rear tire. This Ford f150 had only 3300 miles, I expect to get my tire replaced!!! I really expect to have all 5 tire replaced with another brand.

4 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 03/09/2006

: the contact stated while parking the vehicle at 5 mph, the front driver side tire rubbed against the curb. When the contact returned to the vehicle, the tire had blown out. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, but no repairs were made. The tire was a hankook dynapro bsw a-s.
