1 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 03/09/2012

Bought the truck new. Has 4 winters on it. Cost me $421. 12 to fix at a Ford dealer, plus another $54. 00 to have towed to dealer. Bad placement or design of placement. 118,000 miles I expect to start replacing parts, but not this. Why should people who live in cold climates be penalized.

2 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 01/09/2012

I went online and found a lot of problems with the fuel control module on Ford f150. My concern is I broke down on the freeway because of controle module failure. On a 2007 model. Little scary on the freeway . I think some one should look in to maybe a recall on this part. So no one else will experince the scary brake down I had on the freeway [I-75].

3 Gasoline Fuel System problem

Failure Date: 11/21/2010

This event has occurred twice in the last 3 months. The vehicle is a 2007 Ford f150 stx model with the 4. 6l v8. In the last 3 months twice the #3 cylinder has blown a coil pack. The first time all I had to do was replace the coil pack. This most recent time it actually blew the spark plug out of the cylinder head. I again had to replace the coil pack but this time I had to buy a kit to repair the stripped head. The vehicle shut off and would not restart. I was able to get the vehicle to the side of the highway with out incident. I was driving on a main high way but luckily I was in the far right hand lane. Had I not been I don't know if I would have been able to guide the vehicle to safety as it had no power.
