Defective driver side key pad handle assembly. Robber can access lock from the bottom edge of trim, push up into the door cavity and unlock door with out showing any forced entry. Ford associate commentered it's a common problem with this design.

Door Latch problem #2

The contact owns a 2009 Ford F-150. The contact noticed that both rear doors failed to open. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the cable that released the locks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that both rear latches and locks needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 82,000.
