While driving on a country road, the truck lost all power and service wrench came on. I pulled to side of a 2 lane rd and coasted to a stop. Turned the cr off and on again and code was gone. I drove for about 4 minutes and the truck lost power again. This repeated about 4 times as I was in a mountain area with no cell service. I had to to keep trying to coast as far as I could to find service. Finally after about an hour of stalling on the side of the road, I was able to get cell service and contact help. At 1am we got a tow to the dealer that just repaired the vehicle. They said the problem was unrelated to the service just performed and we had a bad throttle body. The item was replaced.

Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the vehicle stalled and loss complete power with all warning light illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the shoulder of the road get out and look down where a puddle of oil was on the ground. The vehicle was not able to start the contact wife hitched the vehicle and towed the vehicle back to the contact resdiedntes. The vehicle was then towed by an independent towing company who towed the vehicle to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed that the engine and transmission failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle at this time is begin repaired. No dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that no recall was under th VIN and to make a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000. Ck.

The contact researched online and stated the failure was due to the drive train. The failure mileage was 173,000.

Throttle body went out after 40,000 miles. Driving down the road wrench icon pops up and a few seconds later the truck stalls and engine cuts out. Take it to Ford and that part is not covered under my extended warranty. . Big surprise. Talk to customer service and there is nothing they will do either. So out 600 because Ford knowingly sells these vehicles when they know that thousands of people are having the exact same problem.

Was traveling behind two vehicle doing approximately 50 mph in a 75. Went to pass and pressed the accelerator, and nothing happened.
