Hit a tree at 55 miles per hour and airbags never deployed. Went from 55miles per hour to 0 instantly and if it wasn't for us wearing seat belts we would both be dead. The passenger got 3 cracked vertebrae and will be disabled for life. The driver hit the steering wheel and got a crushed his sternum which leaves him immobile for 6months to let his sternum heal on it's own.
