Back sliding window. The track isn't properly secured to the window causing it to rattle and the window to fall out and rain come inside the truck.
Ford 3. 5 ecoboost warped exhaust manifolds, bolts cracks , and lost ,sound loud and power less.
When accelerating, about 90% of the time the vehicle will get warnings for "hill descent control fault" and "advance track service". When this happens, the vehicle will not accelerate anymore and starts slowing down. This has happened to me twice getting onto the interstate in the past month but luckily no vehicles were coming up behind me. This is a huge safety issue though that Ford needs to recognize and fix. The dealership said they have no idea what is causing it but everyone online says that it's likely to be the steering rack. Recall the steering rack because this has apparently happened to a lot of people.
Vehicle went into limp mode 4 times one day and 3 days later 8 times. Faults were hill assist, advanced track, picture of wrench came on then engine light. Limp mode is a serious accident waiting to happen as I was on a rural narrow road, had to stop vehicle put in park shut off engine. Restart engine go a ways and limp mode again. If this happened on a large freeway or at an intersection it would be a serious accident. Called dealership when it first happened they could not get me in for 8 days.
I have a Ford f150 lariat that is not 33 months old, however I have 49k miles. I had to replace my moonroof (out of warranty because of the mileage, which should have nothing to do with the moonroof). That cost me $2,155 in September 2017. On 4/17/18, my replacement made the same awful sound and is broken again the moonroof makes a loud cracking sound like it will break. It then gets stuck open or closed, but sometimes not fully closed. You have to push it with your hand while pushing the button sometimes to get it to seal shut in the case of rain or overnight. There is a lot of research on this and this is quite regular for Ford moonroofs. They should recall and reimburse me for the $2. 1k I spent.
The advance track warning light and fuel assist start warning lit up then the engine speed decreased to 1000 rpms and no acceloration available this happened on ann state highway from 70 mph dropping down to 10 mph this took over 30 days to fix. Seemed to be missed diagnosed for weeks. Mechanics unable to find problem. Parts were shipped and delayed and lost. Wiring harnesses and pcm and finally throttle body seemed to correct the problem. Mixed up because computer told mechanics one thing but really another.
