1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle a popping noise was present coming from the front of the vehicle. While reversing into the driveway, the front passenger’s side wheel suddenly detached and folded inside the wheel well. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the front control arms had fractured and detached from the frame of the vehicle. The vehicle was not yet examined. The manufacture and local dealer were notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 158,000.
