The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the gear shifter seized while shifted in park (p) and was unable to shift to the intended gear. Additionally, the gear shifter fractured when the contact forcefully pushed it out of the park (p) position. The contact had been waiting for the vehicle to be towed to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and was forwarded to roadside assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 1,500.
