The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was later taken to bill talley Ford inc(6280 mechanicsville tpke, mechanicsville, va 23111), where it was diagnosed that the inverter module needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that upon attempting to order the part, the manufacturer advised that the part was on a “do not sell” due to a factory defect. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,436.
