The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, there was an exploding sound coming from the vehicle. The contact became aware that the front glass panel in the panoramic sunroof had shattered without impact. The contact pulled over and discovered that shattered glass was all over the sunroof liner. The vehicle was initially driven back to the residence, and the hole in the glass was covered. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer, where the failure was confirmed. However, the contact was informed that there were no recalls or warranties on the vehicle to cover the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was provided with a case number. The failure mileage was 36,793.

2 Visibility problem

Failure Date: 08/26/2024

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the driver's side sideview mirror housing had melted after the vehicle had been exposed to the sun. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the housing needed to be replaced, and the contact was charged a fee because the repair was not covered under warranty.
