Exterior Lighting problem #1

My vehicle does not appear on the recall list for repair concerning trailer lighting module fault. Trailer was tested on 5 other vehicles within our neighborhood and worked perfectly. Addressed issue with Ford dealership and was told vehicle was not on recall list, yet the error is there. It appears the vehicle needs the updated software Ford has issued but dealership refused to issue repair. Vehicle is still under warranty.

Exterior Lighting problem #2

The tail lights have a design flaw that results in micro cracks appearing in the lights. This is similar to the issue related to the rear light bar, however it applies to the rear tail lights. (for reference the Ford recall for he light bar is here: recall reference number 23s30. The result in my vehicle is that the left tail light is now filled with moisture, full water droplets. This is both for the red tail light as well as the white backup light. When these lights fail it will cause a safety issue. Additionally, the same light housing includes the backup sensors, so when they fail there will be no backup alert. My left tail light is already filled with water like I mentioned. A perfectly symmetrical crack is forming on the right tail light although there is no visible water in that light yet. This should be fixed under a recall by Ford since I did not cause the cracks in the tail lights.

Exterior Lighting problem #3

The driver-side rear tail lamp on my 2025 Ford F-150 lightning developed a crack and internal condensation/moisture without a known impact event. The condition was confirmed by a Ford dealer, which recommended replacement of the lh tail lamp assembly. Ford denied warranty coverage and classified the lamp as non-warrantable cracked housing / outside-force damage. My concern is that cracking and moisture intrusion in a rear lamp assembly may affect lamp integrity, visibility, and safe operation, especially if similar failures are occurring in other recent F-150 lightning vehicles. I had no crash, no fire, no injury, and no police report. The vehicle remained drivable, but the rear lamp assembly is available for inspection and the condition has been documented by the dealer and in photographs.

Exterior Lighting problem #4

Water erosion to the wiring harness to the front headlights led to an outage of the leds on glad of the vehicle.

Exterior Lighting problem #5

Driver side rear tail light housing has a crack that has allowed moisture to enter the housing. Oct 2025 took it to dealer to notify of the problem of water getting in the tail light housing once noticed around 500 miles on truck about a month after purchase. Told to make an appointment to get it submitted for warranty. I was able to dry out the tail light housing and epoxied the crack to prevent water from getting back in. When I finally had the time for an appointment with recall service I had the dealer submit the claim April 2026. Ford denied the claim on 5/11/2026 due to gsb26-7012. Before drying out the housing I did have a couple auto break activations and think this was to excessive water in the tail light housing.

Exterior Lighting problem #6

The third brake lights on this generation raptor are very, very dim. There are three individual/small led lights, and when the tail lights are on, which includes the third brake light on these vehicles since they act as marker lamps due to the vehicle's width), the third brake lights are not noticeable. This is especially bad in the daytime if the headlights are on, because there is almost no difference in luminescence between the tail lights and brake lights.
