Three problems related to clutch pedal/linkage have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-450. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The clutch assembly got stuck due to a defective clutch plate, causing vehicle to stall which could cause a crash. Please provide further information.
Vehicle experienced problem with clutch pedal located to close to the floor which caused vehicle to move, even when clutch pedal was fully pressed to the floor. Asking NHTSA to look into this matter.
Vehicle would not go into gear and sometimes would pop out of gear. Clutch disc broke where springs fell out. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer indicated nothing was wrong with vehicle.
