One problem related to electrical system has been reported for the 2005 Ford F-450. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The fuel injector controls went out at less than 15,000 miles. After that engine always ran hot. Engine buned up at less than 60,000 miles. They put a new one in and now the turbo is not operating right, truck will only pull a load at 50 mph. All of the events listed here happened before the truck was one year old! because of all of these faults I have missed about 2 months of work waiting on them to get it fixed. I feed my family with my truck, if it doesn't work they don't eat.
