Purchased a 2007 kia sorento lx on may 29,2007. I noticed that the passenger air bag light remained on even when someone that meets according to kia the 50lb minimum weight capacity. The passenger air bag light works intermittently. It also blinks on and off. I have taken my vehicle in and spoke with customer service reps including the manager on several occasions to no avail. They seem to be as perplexed as I. I was recently told that kia seems to feel that this is happening because the cushioning needs to be broken in. That is absurd. Please people if you are having this issue or any issue. Be consistent, persistent and document,document ,document. Kia needs to find out what is going on with these vehicles.
