We were hit on i20, when the vehicles front air bags as well as the sos safety equipment (horns emergency hazard lights) failed. When hit we were pushed across three travel lanes into several cement barriers, collecting a semi truck traveling in the slow lane going 40+mph. We all went down an embankment into a concrete runoff, into steep ditch. We were hit by a Dodge charger on the driver side and a semi truck on the passenger side. Truck was totaled with major damage on all sides. We were also pulling a 30’ travel trailer that came apart and all the contents scattered across the ditch and side of the interstate. Police report is on file, I do not have a copy.
Tl-the contact owns a Ford f -450. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the driver's seat moved backwards and contact was uanble to touch the brake and accelerator pedal. Additionally, the radio spontaneously turned on. The front windshield fogged up. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to nick nicholas Ford inc 2901 FL-44, inverness, FL 34453(352) 726-1231 where they were unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted however no further assitance was provided. The failure mielage was 9,900. Ap.
