After updating manufacturer recall number25sa8, my backup camera and all other cameras are not working. Ford is refussing to replace the module b free of charge. Looks like I'm going to have to pay then go after them to get my money back. They keep trying to update and the updates are not working. Everything was working as it should be it went to the dealership. Now it is a seroius safty as I have no cameras at all.

Display showing cameras (ie backup, side views, bed, and hitch) freeze in a blue screen and does not change until you restart vehicle. Going in drive does not fix. Also if you switch to bed camera while driving ( to check the load) it freezes or locks to a blue screen and requires you to restart to display radio or anything other than the blue screen, which means finding a safe spot to stop and restart the vehicle while on the interstate.
Sun roof spontaneously exploded and shadderd glass everywhere on open roadway no cars in front or oncoming, rural area. No explanation as to why it happened.
Tailgate opens while driving could cause jackknife of trailer and truck has recall, recall has been performed 3 times and still having issues midway Ford inspected and said the tailgate is functioning as intended no warning or indicators this is 2nd time this has happened and recalls have been performed also have surveillance video of me leaving a customer's house with tailgate up and closed and when I pull to end of driveway and make a left u can see the tailgate come down while in motion driving . Ford motor company and the dealer refuse to help with damages and have no concern this could happen to me on a off ramp or at higher speeds and this could end up in a life threating situation, they cannot offer me a fix or repairs to my vehicle or trailer even though I have a letter from them that says they will, customer satisfaction program 21mo5 it states coverage for this issue for 10yrs or 150,000miles I currently have 117000 miles and year coverage until 2027.

My horn started going off continuously, I got messages on my digital dash system, saying that my lane assist had a fault, my adaptive speed control was faulty, and other system. Safety features were inactive. Ford has an issue, and they acknowledge the issue of the fuse box under the hood randomly coming off, which allows water to get into the fuse system, and start corroding wires which start sending mixed signals and failures to the system.

My tailgate came open randomly while pulling a trailer. Ford knows about this issue, but is yet to make a recall and not sure they’re going to cover the damage done to my tailgate. The tailgate randomly came open when I had turned a corner, and when I straightened back out made my truck and trailer jumped all over the road because the tailgate contacted the trailer.
The rear camera is addressed in NHTSA recall number22v644, but the same issue is occurring with the front camera too. Ford dealer said to call Ford customer service to address my concern. Ford customer service advised I file a claim with NHTSA. Since Ford already acknowledged the issue with these cameras, I’d like the front to be addressed at the same time as the rear.

Recall on my f450 with no remedy, Ford will not give me an equivalent replacement - this is putting lives in danger. All of the dash engine lights will come on, no abs, no traction control, no brakes whatsoever, power loss, will not go over 2k rpm. Then truck will not go into park when it does stop. It is an extreme danger to myself and others to not be able to drive or brake my truck. Ford is “too busy” to even diagnose the problem even though it is clearly because of the recall. This needs to be remedied before someone gets hurt.
The tailgate opened while I was traveling down the road! I did not hit any buttons. It causes damage to my RV and my truck.

Vibration at highway speeds aprox. 15,000 miles that continues to worsen to a slight vibration at idle and vibration/bounce/hop at aprox. 30,000 miles, to a violent shake at aprox. 45,000 miles, making it very hard to maintain the control needed to stay in your lane and extremely hard to come to a stop in an emergency braking sitiation. When towing or hauling the defect seems to worsen. The vehicle has been to two dealerships that has kept the vehicle over 90 days, replacing or repairing a large list of components, they are always able to reproduce and confirm the defect, but have not been able to repair it.
Wire harness for transmission was not secured properly, came loose and wrapped around deiveshaft ripping it off,and caused an coolant line to also pull off vehicle was running fine,70mph on freeway. . . Made a loud pop noise and transmission was grinding bad. . . Pulled over and shut it off immediately, lots of antifreeze under trick and wire harness ripped off and wrapped around front driveshaft(6-8ft of the wire harness).

The door latches will not latch in colder weather. If they latch once the vehicle is thawed out. Driving over rough surfaces will cause the doors to unlatch.
I have running lights but no turn signals, brake, or four way/emergency lights on my fifth wheel when towing. This is at any time hooked up to the truck. Otherwise on the truck itself all lights work properly.

The truck surges/engine revs. Ford does not know why its happening, multiple parts have been changed. Several Ford engineers have been involved with no resolution. The truck has been at the dealer for 7 months, parked for the last 1 month with no activity. I believe it is a safety issue, due to the fact the truck will surge forward on its own. Ford now says it not a warranty issue, but we still are under the 5 yr / 60,000 mile power train warranty. This is a recognized problem for mountain supply and service and we are trying to resolve it before someone gets hurt, and we feel that it is not our responsibility at this point, since we have brought it to Ford's attention.

I took my Ford F-450 lariat for its 60,000 miles service. After the service was done, while driving it home from the Ford dealership (autonation Ford in corpus christi, TX), on the freeway as soon as I got to around 50 miles per hour the vehicle's front started to shake/wobble very violently. Speeding up to the speed limit (60 mph) did not help and the shaking got actually worst, I had to stop for the shaking/wobbling to stop, thankfully I was still on the right lane and there was a wide enough shoulder for me to stop. As soon as I restarted and got to about 50 mph the violent shaking restarted, and I had to stop again for this shaking to stop. I exited the freeway at the first exit and drove back to the dealer. On the way back the violent shaking repeated at least 5 more times, once on the city street with 45 mph speed limit. When I described the shaking to the service adviser, he said they heard about this, and they call it the "death wobble". Actually one of his mechanic experienced it before on his truck. Now my Ford F-450 is in service again and they are trying to figure out how to fix my "death wobble" problem. I filed a complain with Ford today, but I do not expect much to happen. Given that the mechanics knew about this "death wobble", and after an internet search I found that is affecting many other Ford owners (there are many groups describing the same problem), I consider that Ford should have recalled these vehicles, before somebody gets hurt. Stopping on the freeway, while semi-trucks were behind me driving at full speed was the scariest experience, and did not think that I will get away without being hit by other trucks. Please tell Ford to fix the "death wobble". I do not think that I should be responsible for paying for this fix.

While driving down a parkway at the speed limit, we traveled over several bridges and all of a sudden after hitting a rough spot in the road and over the bridges the truck began to shake violently and we had to almost come to a stop to hold it in the road. It continued to do this almost every time we hit a bump in the road. We had just recently bought this truck used, I am scared to ride or drive this truck anymore, it is my husbands and he does. We pull a horse trailer at times and I am scared to do so because it puts our lives as well as other motorists lives and my horses in danger. This needs to be recalled and corrected ASAP. . . . He purchased some expensive part and had it put on under the front end and it has helped but lt still feels like it will start at any moment to shake when you cross a bridge or hit a pot hole, it is like it is on the verge and could start at any moment. It does not drive normal!!!!.
Driving down the highway in the rain truck started shaking could not hold steering wheel . Truck started going sideways on highway from shaking/ wobble. Truck shuts off driving down the road with no warning no steering or brakes towing equipment. I have had my 1 year old daughter in truck almost in a accident 2 times now from trucks death wobble and motor shutting off towing equipment.
I was driving along my 2012 Ford f450superduty turbo diesel along the interstate 495 DC beltway in maryland with my seven year old son in the back seat, when a lcd in the middle of the speedometer gave a warning which read "reduced power" and could immediately feel a reduced responsiveness of the truck to the accelerator. A moment later another sign read " cleaning exhaust filter" which disappeared almost immediately. A moment later a final warning came up which read" stop at a safe location. I bearly pulled over to a dangerous shoulder when my truck shot down. At this point I could no longer move my truck to a safer location on the highway shoulder. The highway on which my truck stalled is the busiest highway in maryland. The truck stalling like the way it did put my life, my sons life and the lives of other motorists at risk at moment it did. While I was searching online for what might have gone wrong with my truck, I came across an article on which ambulances were recalled and sensors in the exhaust were replaced to fix the problem. One striking similarity was the five audible chime the trucks were emitting which my truck also emitted. I was not able start the truck at that stall point so I had it towed to a local dealership.
My 2009 Ford F-450 truck currently is at my local dealer which is kerry Ford in cincinnati with a bad motor and bad rear differential. The motor has one failed lifter and 2 failed rocker arms. The rear end has a bad pinion bearing which sent metal through the differential which destroyed the gears. The motor is a 6. 4 liter powerstroke diesel and the rear end is a dana 110. The motor issues are common knowledge to both Ford repair facilities as well as Ford corporate offices. The rear end is also a known issue both which can be confirmed by any powerstroke certified mechanic. The motor issue was confirmed by 2 seperate shops to which I was suggested by my repair facility and mechanic to contact Ford corporate for a "goodwill policy" to cover this issue even though it is currently past the written warranty due to the fact Ford has covered numerous engine failures because of this inherent issue. The regional Ford rep denied any assistance to this issue when even the dealer has said its common and should be addressed. Upon finding out the decision which took 2 weeks of my truck being in the shop I was advised to contact the corporate customer relations line which I did to try to talk to my regional manager but as per Fords policy I cannot get a direct contact to any regional rep or anyone above this person. My dealership service manager states he cant even get a direct number to the rep himself so basicly Ford insulates itself from any direct contact for a consumer to resolve any issues. I have numerous documented failures of this vehicle while under warranty when it has been maintained to the very best schedule. This issue is an inherent design flaw of this motor which shares the same valvetrain parts with the previous 6. 0 liter powerstroke which is also doomed fleetwide with these same issues which as also highly documented.

As per your odi resume #rq14-005, my RV built on 2012 chassis experienced egt sensor malfunction to number 13 and 14. This occurred on I-75 outside of lexington, ky. I was very lucky to be in the right lane and just barely pulled to the shoulder before the engine shutdown. Had to call state police because of the close proximity to travel lane and very dangerous situation for other vehicles. This trip started in clemmons, nc, and included 2 tunnels which could have been a disaster if the incident occurred in either one. Called Ford about recall for ambulance chassis since this seems to be same type. They stated the computer program is different and therefore the recall does not pertain to my unit.
Engine logo light came on; then red sign came on " stop safely now". I pulled to the shoulder and the engine stopped. I waited 30 minutes or so and the engine started again. I drove starting and stopping to a Ford dealer in clarion, PA. Slept in the truck all night and the next morning shawn ran the computer and his conclusion was the number 8 cylinder injector was bad and that causes the heat sensors to malfunction. He didn't have the part but suggested running it until it cuts out, let it cool then run it again. Well after about 70 miles it stopped for good. I then called up montross Ford, and they had the injector so I bought it thinking next I'll find the mechanic, on a Saturday afternoon I was wrong. Next I looked up recalls and I found a recall for faulty heat sensors, that recall was for the same time period as my truck was made. I am now sitting on the side of rt. 76 with no where to go pulling a 4 car trailer, customers upset and my last hope is Ford motor CO.
