Upon further investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 08e042000 (engine and engine cooling) however, the vehicle was not included. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure and the contact was informed that his vehicle was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 57,000.
