Tire wearing out under 30. 000 miles.
Was driving on highway and back left tire exploded, the complete side wall all the way around blew out. I had problems with losing air and I got no where with the dealership, then when this happened I even printed out complaints others had with the same tires and they said they could not do anything because it was considered wear and tear. I bought my vehicle in Aug of 2012 and its not even a year old. I am also hearing more complaints from others. I have a commercial lic. , and this could have been deadly for an unskilled driver. I fear for mine and others safety. I had my tires replaced at wal-mart.
The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta equipped with kumho solus tires, tire size 185/60/15. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the front passenger side tire exploded. The vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road and the defective tire was replaced with a spare. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who replaced the spare with a new tire. Most recently the rear passenger's tire exploded and a spare was installed. The defective tire had not been replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. Feels like it strains as it shifts, feels like something in the transmission is not right. I am made to feel like its nothing and I know it is. I barely drive it over 25 miles per hour unless I go off the island and ofcourse there have been tire issues, kumho solus tires, tire size 185/60/15. I nearly had a deadly crash with a semi. I have filed a complaint about that also. The sync system seems to mess up alot also and gets worse with time.
