Air bag light on intermittently, then recently it's been continuously on.
I just bought a used 2012 Ford Fiesta and I realized after buying it that the odometer isn't working at all. The transmission also isn't working properly. When I start the car, the 1rt gear won't go into shift so the car stutters and shakes. I took the car to a Ford dealer but they insisted that the car doesn't have a recall for the transmission. I know that there is a consumer class action suit against Ford due to faulty transmissions built into these make and model. I have contacted a lawyer and I am waiting to hear from him. I would like to file a formal complaint. Thank you. P. S: I do not know what type of photos or documents you would like me to upload do please contact me with more information with this regard.
This Ford Fiesta has many problems I have spend over 1300 dollars this car has many safety issues. The doors poped open while driving this car. I contacted Ford and the representative was not caring she stated it's out of their warranty . I explained to her that the doors came open with my two year old in back seat in a car seat could have fell out. I also told her the car stopped in the middle of the road. It's something wrong with the transmission on this car. This vehicle is not safe and I would like this looked into. I was traveling on a highway all american in fayetteville nc.
Got in am accident. Was hit on my passenger front side. No airbags deployed. Not even my curtain airbags. I was in motion at time of accident. I was on a city street.
Airbag does not work. Left rear door latch broke for no reason. Brakes are not good. Air conditioner is failing.
My car door opened while I was driving in a parking lot. I cannot close or lock this door.
The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fiesta. While traveling 65 mph, the front passenger side door fractured without warning and opened while the vehicle was in motion. The contact had to pull the vehicle over and make a quick adjustment to the door due to the failure. The internal lights remained illuminated due to the failure, which drained the battery for months. The vehicle was also included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v246000 (latches/locks/linkages), but the dealer was not able to provide the part for several months, which was not in a reasonable timeframe to schedule the recall repair. The contact was unable to determine when the part would become available. The contact was still experiencing the failure. The vehicle was also included in NHTSA campaign number: 12v488000 (air bags). The dealer was unable to determine when that recall repair would be performed. The dealer did not notify the contact that the recall needed to be performed. The contact reported the failure to the manufacturer and was waiting to determine when the two recall repairs would be performed. The vehicle was still at the dealer to be repaired for the door lock failure and still waiting for the software update for the air bags. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.
We were on the highway while it was snowing. All of the other vehicles were slowing down because there was an accident blocking off the highway. Eventually we all came to a stop. After we stopped there was a yukon that was unable to stop because of conditions and its load and hit us from behind. He was probably going 35 mph. Both the passenger and driver's head flung back against seats. No airbags deployed. Passenger has suffered in the spine from this accident.
