Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated that once the vehicle was turned on the air bags warning indicator illuminated on the dashboard. The contact also stated that the warning indicator had been illuminated since the 3rd of July 2018. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer all american Ford 3698 us 9 , old bridge, new jersey 08857, they determined that the sensor on the passenger side seat was faulty and needed replacement. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000. Bp.
Takata recall airbag warning indicator illuminates daily. My vehicle not included on the recall list. It illuminates whether its moving or stationary.
