Steering problem #1

Tl- the contact owns a 2017 Ford Fiesta while driving at 55 mph the vehicle drifted to the side of the road while trying to get the vehicle back on the road depressing the brakes it failed to operate and the steering wheel seized without warning causing the contact to crash into a tree and only the side air bags deployed. The contact mentioned that he started to see smoke coming through the vents in the vehicle. However when the contact tried to exit the vehicle all the doors was jammed and had to exit through the passenger window. Upon inspecting the vehicle the contact stated that he noticed the cvc joint under the vehicle was fractured. The contact sustained back, arms, neck, right knee and right hip injuries as well as cuts on his left arm that needed medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The vehicle was was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 43000.

Only had vehicle a month. Had 2 blow outs on tires. Have had problems with suspension since that time. Had to several alignments and replace more tires due to ware. Have problems with steering mostly on the passenger side still continues.
