The low beam headlights do not turn on, all the other lights work as normal including the high beams. The fuses have not blown and there are no warning lamps or messages. This is a known problem with this make and model, there is a recall in canada for this issue. The safety of others is put at extreme risk in any kind of low light condition (fog, rain, etc. ) as well as my own safety by not being able to see in front of me. It is illegal to drive with high beams on in residential areas so I am just unable to drive at night. The vehicle has not been inspected yet. I suspect this is related to the design of the fuse box which allows debris and moisture to get into the relays, again, see the canadian recall.

I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta. The vehicle has a really serious issue relating to the fuse box that is mounted under the hood. This issue has a recall and I scheduled it for service at the Ford dealer in bryan, ohio. (bryan Ford) I have issues with this vehicle that make it extremely unsafe for me and my family to drive. The headlights randomly go out while driving, both passenger and drivers side are affected by this. The doors will not lock and I have no horn now either, making us a target for car jacking. About a month before I found out there was a recall for this I hit a racoon and it knocked off the plastic wheel cover. After I took it in to have the recall fixed bryan Ford refused to repair this recall due to the missing plastic. I believe my family and I are going to be seriously injured in this vehicle because of the electrical problems related to the recalled fusebox. I blow a headlight approximately once a week and the fuses blow constantly. I believe they do not want to fix this because it is a very time consuming repair that they feel isn't worth thier time. The anxiety I have while driving this car after dark is excruciating and I feel that my families lives are worth the time for this repair. Is this legal for them to decline a known and well documented safety issue related to the fuse box in this vehicle? perhaps a buy back should be recalled since this does make the vehicle a serious hazzard to anyone on the road including my family.
Fan stopped working out of no where causing car to over heat happened multiple times even after being replaced. Airbag lights say airbag on passenger side is off even when someone is in the seat this happens alot. Back driver side turn signal will not work and everything has been changed and looked at by several mechanics. When driving it sometimes does not want to shift wants to just stay at one rpm and jerk.

Interior lighting stopped working. Rear lights stopped working and then front lights stopped working. There is a known recall on this, but Ford states it doesn’t include my VIN. However, when you go to the recall it shows the exact same issue with corrosion in the fuse junction box. Bill estes Ford diagnosed it as corrosion of fuses in that box. Ford won’t work with me even though this is a known issue with 2011,2012,2013 Fiesta’s. I was almost rear ended not knowing my rear lights were not working in the dark.
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fiesta. The contact stated while driving at night the low-beam headlights would turn off and on and eventually remained permanently inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the headlight relay was faulty due to excessive corrosion. The relay was replaced, and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 66,000.

My 2012 Ford Fiesta has no filtration system to prevent salt and moisture from getting into the engine fuse box. Last year, a mechanic rewired the fuse box low beam relay to a different fuse, now the corrosion has started up again. This forces me to use my high beams until I have to replace the whole fuse box, which is expensive and causes me to be unsafe until I fix the problem. I've seen other instances of this online.

Due to lack of sealer preventing outside debris from enter the fuse box under the hood. Corrosion sets in and causes intermittent issue with day time driving lights while not effecting high beams. Unexpected scenarios showed this could happen at any time, with a higher likelihood during cold temperatures with freezing participation.
Car shudders excessively on acceleration. Will also lurch forward during acceleration. Grinding noises when car is on low speed (1-20 mph). Rear taillights stopped working without warning.
Stationary vehicle: unsealed engine compartment fuse box led to corrosion of the headlamp relay terminals. Result was intermittent headlamp function eventually followed by complete headlamp failure. ## #vpic# 1 - check digit (9th position) does not calculate properly; 14 - unable to provide information for all the characters in the VIN. #vpic#.
2012 Ford Fiesta - low beam headlamps fail intermittently. They work sometimes and sometimes they don't. When they are working they can suddenly shut off. A little research shows that the low beam relay for the headlamp has some corrosion built up on it and is causing the issue. Haven't yet been able to repair it. This is happens while driving down the road. It happens on a city street and on the highway. The lose of headlamps while driving at night seems seems to be rather dangerous. I could understand if it was a bulb that went out but corrosion on the terminals of the relay might not be repairable within a reasonable cost.
Driving on a two way road, the low beam head lights went out. I could not see. I was lucky that the high beams worked. The problem was when another car was coming towards me and I have switch to the low beams. I reached my destination but the problem persist.
The car want start and the oil light and engine light is on. I had a oil change done on the car today after getting it home it will not start up the battery is good but the car is just not start. Its turning over but staying on.

This car has been a disaster from day one. The transmission issues that Ford is aware of have almost caused numerous accidents. The car bucks and carries on all the time. While stopped for a red light you push on gas and it doesn't move them all the sudden it darts into traffic. About 6 months ago low beams stopped working and nobody knows why. Then 2 weeks ago all the sudden car overheats and within 2 minutes dies causing $2000 worth of damage. Im told these are common and im lucky it didn't catch on fire. What's next. Fyi, the lights still don't work which causes a safety hazard. Why is this car not recalled??.
I have three or more recalls on my vehicle went a couple years ago to have them repaired I was told I had paid 120 just for them to look at the car so I didn't have them repaired I went to your system and saw that it was reported that all my recalls have been repaired and that's a false statement none of my recalls have been repairman on lashes have fallen off my inside with my gauges it is coming apart my phone areas don't work anymore my axle or studs in things have been messed up that messed up my lights in the inside of the car keeps flickering. Now my engine light has come on it won't go off the car has 214,000+ miles on it and I don't want to break apart I just paid it off. I've had to replace the serpentine belt twice the rubber around the insulation of the doors is coming off the areas where you can see your radio in speedometer and fogged up. The dealership told me I couldn't get the eggs and radio free for six months I have the sensor but they said they can activate it in a standard model the tire exploded three weeks after having the car I reported the rubbing sound when I first bought the car and they told me that's what new cars sound like and then wants to tire exploded the Ford dealership I took it to send it to the corporation they claim they said it was route has it but I didn't hit anything. The transmission had to be repaired after six months and now is acting up again.

Although the transmission was updated per the recall it putts or hesitates/stalls with the slightest incline and worse on a real hill. I can't pull out into traffic quicknow because it would cause an accident and it shouldn't be that way. I took it to Ford of escondido and was told that some putting is normal but I know this is not right. It is an ongoing issue. Has been since like 3 weeks after I bought it.
There have been multiple instances that my transmission, while in motion, has stuttered, stalled, or been completely unresponsive. In low gears, the transmission sounds as if it is grinding metal cans. When my car stutters or jerks seemingly out of nowhere, my lights and dash will flicker as well. Both my Ford dealership and Ford itself has told me these safety issues are normal and to be expected. Twice I've almost collided with semis on the highway when I was unable to get up to speed properly due to the chugging and stuttering. There are thousands of complaints on this issue. I've already had my clutch and seals replaced once, to no avail. This is the first vehicle I've bought and I'm scared for my safety. Ford and my dealership won't take responsibility for these hazards and insist that I'm not driving my car right. The grinding, stuttering, stalling, and outright transmission failure has been occurring for the full 7 months I've had the car. If maintenance invoices are needed, I do have access to these.
None of the recalls were ever done to my vehicle. Mailing problems didn’t receive notification in mail. Door handle fell off and window handles coming off. Tag light glitching and in car press light doing the same. Crack plastic parts of car cracked years ago. Strange engine leak. Door panels coming off and panel around gear broke a year after I got the car. I sent complaint two years ago. I have not heard from anyone.
Driving on the highway at 65 mph car looses power you cant accelerate it hesitates and wants to shut off at times it does it wont go up hill and when approaching a stop light hesitates and shuts off you start it back up fine and it wont go transmission fails its automatic transmission does it once transmission warms up.
We were on the highway while it was snowing. All of the other vehicles were slowing down because there was an accident blocking off the highway. Eventually we all came to a stop. After we stopped there was a yukon that was unable to stop because of conditions and its load and hit us from behind. He was probably going 35 mph. Both the passenger and driver's head flung back against seats. No airbags deployed. Passenger has suffered in the spine from this accident.
Transmission replaced4 times.
