1 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2010

Severe sidewall cracking of continental ct95 tires. Issue widely reported online. Tires at 60% of tread, 3. 5 years since new. Remainder of tire is in very good condition.

2 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 12/23/2008

Pirelli p6 (p225/55 r18) tire failure on interstate 40. The entire tread area & about 1 inch of the sidewall broke away from both sidewalls. The remaining two sidewalls stayed on the rim but the tread came off. The tires are original to the 2006 Ford 500 - with 40k mileage. The other 3 tires appear to be ok. All have been maintained and rotated every 5k miles. Fortunately there was no wreck - I was extremely lucky consider the traffic speed. I retrieved the tread from the roadside after having the tire replaced.
