Sensing System Camera problems of the 2019 Ford Flex

Remedy dealers will replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Parts are not available. Ford motor company is working to provide parts for this repair. When the remedy becomes available, Ford motor company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge. It's been going on for roughly 10 months + since they've known about this, and the recall is still in advance notice. Rear backup camera stopped working.

The rear back up camera has a blue screen, unable to see anything behind me.

The rear back up camera works intermittently.

Back up camera shows upside down image. It also sometimes has lines through the image or a blue screen. It is not safe and I see others complaining about the same safety issue.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact stated that while reversing, the rearview camera displayed an inverted image. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 69,000. The VIN was unavailable.

2019 Ford Flex back-up camera either upside or unavailable when the car is put into reverse. Car is available for inspection upon request. The software has been successfully updated multiple times. The camera going out or being upside down when backing up is definitely a safety issue. No inspection has taken place. The car is 5 years old and the camera worked for about the first two years. There were no warning signs for the problem. Thought a recall would be issued.
