Mechanical Jack problems of the 2000 Ford Focus

1 Mechanical Jack problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2002

Consumer states that jack equipment does not include the proper size lug nut wrench. Included wrench is too small and consumer has not been able to find proper size anywhere. Mfr advised consumer that it's the dlr's responsibility. Dlr advised consumer that they are not able to locate the proper size wrench. Vehicle's tires are the original/16 inch.

2 Mechanical Jack problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2001

While using jack when changing tire jack would not let vehicle down. Dealer ordered another jack. Consumer states that the nut welded to the jack was broken.

3 Mechanical Jack problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2000

Jack bent trying to change a flat tire. This was first time using it. Dealer took jack and would repair it, but it was never returned.
