Throttle does not return to the idle position which causes unexpected acceleration. Nhtsa recall 99v346000/manufacturer's 99s35. Manufacture was not aware of the recall. Also, contacted dealer, dealer was unable to determine cause of the problem.
While shifting into drive vehicle will accelerate without applying accelerating pedal. Also, vehicle constantly stalls. Mechanic has inspected vehicle, and found no malfunction.
Vehicle hesitates on a hill during acceleration and the mileage per gallon of gasoline is very poor.
While driving at any speed vehicle stalled. Consumer tried to restart vehicle and was able to start it. However, vehicle suddenly surged. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic was not able to duplicate the problem.
Vehicle surges and jerks forward while driving,dealer has attempted to repair vehicle, however has been unsuccessful.
Consumer states that the vehicle experiences runaway acceleration, this sometimes will occur while vehicle is in reverse, consumer states that the only way to get vehicle back to normal is by pulling over, putting her left foot on the brake, and then punching the gas with her right foot.
