Tl- the contact owns a 2001 Ford Focus. The contact stated front and rear passenger seat belts failed to lock and unlock properly. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was was 79,000 and the current mileage was 83,500. Rds.

3 Seat Belt problem

During a recent automobile accident, the driver side seat belt did not secure the driver. The drive suffered facial injury when contact was made with the steering wheel. I will contact the Ford dealership this week.

4 Seat Belt problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2008

The rear seat center seat belt is intermittently locked in the retracted position and you never can rely on it to be used. It seems to have a mind of its own. Currently ours is locked so tight in the retracted position, it is impossible to pull it out and use it.
