The contact owns a 2004 Ford Focus. While driving approximately 15 mph, an unintended acceleration occurred and the brake pedal was depressed. The contact crashed the vehicle into a snow embankment. There were no injuries or damages. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was driven from the scene. The vehicle was not diagnosed repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
While driving 25 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated to 90 mph. The consumer attempted to apply the brakes to slow the vehicle down. Consequently, the consumer rear ended another vehicle.
