3 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2015

While driving on snow for the first time with this vehicle, I experienced significant and extremely difficult to control fishtailing of the rear end. I have significant experience driving in the snow, the tires are in extremely good condition and the vehicle was checked prior to the trip. The problem is not with the tires or maintenance. The problem is with the design of the suspension. After the incident, a quick internet search reveals that this is a known problem with the Ford Focus of this vintage. It is beyond belief that Ford is unaware of the problem. The vehicle is defective and unsafe. We were lucky to keep the vehicle under control and get off the road alive. Attempts to contact Ford directly have proven unsuccessful.

6 Suspension problem

Front left tire blew causing to loose control of the car it went off road and slammed into a ditch. Front bumper and quarter panel damage, front axle broke, rims dented, suspension needs to be replaced to name a few. Almost 5000. 00 in damage. Person jerked forward enough to have cuts in the chest/shoulder by the seat belt yet the airbag did not deploy.

7 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/15/2013

2007 Ford Focus st excessive tire wear. At 71,000 miles the vehicle is due for the fourth set of tires. Goodyear eagle gt p205/50-16 tires have twice lasted less than 25,000 miles while the tires are warrantied for 50,000 miles. Alignment and balance are good and maintained, no 'unusual' wear patterns. Many owners of this vehicle have reported similar issues.

8 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 08/18/2010

Something in the car makes a squeaky noise air conditioner gave out.

9 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 09/08/2008

2007 Ford Focus 6 tires bought in little under 30,000 miles dealer said nor rotating enough. Another Ford deal said it Focus is a high tire maintenance car get rid of it. The wheel alignments so extreme tilt tires are cupping on the inside but if fact specs. Independent tire dealer said this is a typical Focus and there is a fix at the cost of $500. 00 to set the numbers closer to 0 . The tires are wearing in the direction the tilt shows. Dealer says rotate more tire dealer says the numbers are not right I think if there is a fix then there is a design flaw and the dealer should pay for this because seem to be a major issue I should not have to rotate every 3000 miles.

10 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/20/2008

Severe tire wobble. Took the car to dealer. They said it needed alignment and 2 new tires. Took to a tire dealer they said that they have had many of the same cars in there with the same problem. It's that the rear wheels are toed-in 50% to much from the factory specs and it just chops the tires up. The car needs 2 new tires and a alignment job to fix the problem from the factory. I feel that the company should pay for it , since it comes off the line like that.
