Tl the contact owns a 2012 Ford Focus. The contact stated that there had been no failures until the vehicle was serviced for NHTSA campaign number: 16v643000 (latches/locks/linkages) and weeks after the dealer champion Ford Lincoln, 140 southtown blvd, owensboro, ky 42303, (270) 684-1441 serviced the recall campaign, there was an abnormal noise heard in the area of the instrument panel and the radio. In addition, the electronic function of the doors locking failed to function and the contact was uncertain if the doors may secure due to the multiple failures. The contact felt that the recall repair remedy failed to provide a permanent fix. The vehicle was not repaired yet and the dealership indicated that the vehicle would need to be diagnosed which was unacceptable to the contact. The vehicle was also included in 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline) but the remedy and part was not available yet, field service action number: 14m01 transmission clutch shudder / transmission input shaft seal warranty extension and 14m02 transmission control module extended warranty coverage. The contact called to verify if those campaigns had been serviced by the dealer with the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and the contact was waiting to determine a remedy to repair the multiple failures. The approximate failure mileage was not available.
