The engine shut down at highway speed (62mph). At time we were travelling on a state highway at night and with inclement weather. The engine light came on and identified engine fault and service engine now. There was no prior indication of any engine malfunction. The problem was confirmed and repaired by johnson Ford in pittsfield massachusetts. The wiring harnass on the intake manifold was melted and exposed wiring that when wet became a dead short for the engine.
