While driving home (five hour road trip) noises started coming from the steering wheel. Felt like it was is binding and grinding. This only happened when the vehicle was in motion. Happen on the highway on my way home, later on city streets, when turning. I immediately took my car to savannah tire to see what was wrong. The dx was rack and pinion. They could not repair my car. I was told that my car was unsafe to drive. The problem started around the first of July. My steering not working properly on a five year car is a problem, this made my car unsafe for me to drive. At any time my steering gear could have went out causing me to have an accident hurting myself or others. I could have died. Ford has had steering issues in the past on my car. The car has had three recalls. One Ford recalled on there own (steering issues). I had to get this problem fixed on my own paying the amount of $2,457. 70 please for the safety of others recall this, so that Ford can take responsibly for the safety of people who have bought this car.
The radio and cd is not working.
Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact was notified about NHTSA campaign number 18v735000 fuel system gasoline while driving at various speeds the accelerator pedal was applied but, the vehicle hesitated. Additionally, while adding fuel the contact detected a fuel leak. The tpms and windshield fluid low warning indicator lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to matthews Ford 175 e main st, norwich, NY 13815 (607) 334-3273 who stated that the remedy for recall 18v735000 fuel system gasoline was not available available. Where diagnosed that the clutch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted who referred contact to local dealer. The failure mileage was 65,000. Ap.
The car is own 3 years old and I have already replaced the fuel emission valves, the cooling system, and now the unaffordable transmission control, catylattic converter, and transmission clutch have gone out to where my car wont change speeds while on the highway, nor reverse.
My car does not accelerate on the road when my foot is pressing down on gas pedal but rpm increases resulting in stalling in motion like conditions. It is very scary and frustrating for me and my occupants that ride with me to work.
I was making a right hand turn on a city street at approximately 20 miles per hour when the steering got very heavy, the abs and traction control lights illuminated, a message on the dash started that hill start assist was deactivated and the speedometer stopped working. When I pulled over, the car would not shut off when I pushed the start/stop button. The car is currently at the dealership undergoing diagnostic testing. I think it may be an abs sensor that came loose behind a wheel.
My hazard lights did not work because the switch didn't work. Had to get it replaced so I could use them if I had a break down.
From the very first year that I bought this car, (2015) it has had multiple problems with it; it shakes, shutters, 9even at 40-50 mph) uses way too much gas, it had a badly corroded battery, the clutch and transmission both, had problems and recalls!! I was raised, believing that either Ford or Chevrolet, were the american cars to own; not anymore, customer service, after the sale, is a joke; both autonation's (850 n. Burleson blvd, burleson, TX 76028 and the 5000 bryant irvin rd, 76132 locations are horrible!! after I pay this loser of a car off, I will never buy Ford again!!!.
