I've filled out a complaint but needed to update it. Not sure how to do it so I just filled out another. I was told that I have a bad transmission because I've been dealing with stuttering from my car for a while. I just got a letter in the mail that in 2019 they realized they installed improper things into the car or something. This is ridiculous honestly. I put so much money into this car bro and now what. I have to get rid of it?.
On 11/02/2020 I started my car, warmed it up and then started driving. I noticed that the car shook and pulled when switching gears from 1st to second and seemed to want to stall. Also, when breaking the car wanted to keep accelerating. This is the second time this happens in a matter of a year.
While going from a stop to accelerating, my vehicle shutters and will attempt to stall. I have had this car almost cause multiple serious accidents and every time I take it the dealership (5 times) they tell me its the manual transmission assembly clutch. They say that Ford is aware of the issue but there is no permanent fix for it. I have myself and 2 very young children to worry about while driving, not to mention the safety of others. Also while driving at any steady speed, the car will randomly rev up sometimes going from 2000 rpms to over 4000 rpms.

Car almost stalls from stop to go in first gear. And the engine rattles when coming to a stop.
I have a 2017 Focus that the transmission thats sluggish/slipping. I bought the car new and at 13,000 I already had to replace the transmission for a clicking/stalling/slipping. When I bought it in and explained the reason its like they already knew about the issue and the part was on back order. Had to wait about a month before the part got changed. Now at 15,000 the transmission acting up again. The transmission revs high before switching gears. It sluggish when merging onto the highway. Even when needing that little bit extra power going up a hill, it bogs down and I have to move over in lanes make sure no one behind me gets stuck. I'm already thinking about taking my car back in again before my 30,000 mile warranty hits to try and get it replaced once again. The transmission is unreliable and not effective. I wish I didnt buy this car and went with a Nissan or Toyota. But im stuck with this unreliable car.

Clutch pedal loses pressure/spring and goes to floor leaving vehicle in gear and vehicle stalls when driving - did this on a highway twice when attempting to shift gears. Very dangerous as it almost caused a bad accident on the highway at almost 70mph. Vehicle lucky made it to the side of the road costing in after stalling when clutch would not return to its normal state. Dealership not able to reproduce issue but issue is intermittent and I fear it could cause a serious accident as it causes the car to stall when the clutch goes to the floor after losing pressure all of a sudden when vehicle is still in gear - it will stall out. Seems to be a popular issue among many other 2016-2017 Ford Focus rs vehicles. Others reported issue was finally resolved by replacing master and slave clutch cylinders. Simply bleeding lines and/or replacing clutch and/or flywheel does not resolve issue. Ford needs to research and issue a recall ASAP as this is life threatening because the vehicle will stall out when this occurs.
Takata recall my car had stalled out ever since I got it brand new. While driving.
