Adaptive Cruise Control Problems of Ford Focus

The tcm on the transmission needs fixed they said I could get a rental car.

Cruise control fails constantly, has trouble picking up speed going up hills. Can't maintain speed on hills and sloaps. Gave to dealership for two months said it was fine only for them to tell me they had no mechanic. Engine continues to fail and they won't check for new recall for free on my car. My check ending light is currently on, I believe it is the same issue with the other Ford Focus recall.

My transmission started slipping like it was in neutral and coming to a stop when it downshifted to low gear it would lunge forward the Ford garage said it was tcm but didnt have the part I dont know what to do I need a car.

I believe the defective tcm cause all kinds of havoc on the other systems. And Ford knows they can not fix this issue. Cause car to accelerate an come to a stop in the street! no way safe.

Transmisión slip when taking off. Dealer replaced clutch and replaced / repaired components. After 7,000 mile, problem occurs again. This time, taking 2 weeks to get an appointment.

Transmission occasionally fails to shift into reverse and has issues properly shifting gears automatically. Gear shifting has been a very minor issue for at least 5 years, only happened once. In the past week, the issues mentioned in first sentence has grown progressively worse starting with minor juttering when gears are shifted higher. Reverse issue has started at the start of this week, and the juttering has gotten worse. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request at this time. Vehicle fails to speed up when acceleration is applied for a good while, engine reving into 4000-5000 rpm range before it corrects itself after 5-10 seconds. Acceleration issues may cause collision issues with drivers following. Lack of reverse leaves vehicle requiring to park in ways it can drive forward or roll back out of the parking spot, making parking more dangerous. This system has been a part of a prior recall. Since the recall was supposedly fixed, the system has not been inspected since. The check engine light illuminates from time to time, mainly when the vehicle can't reverse.

A friend and I were in jackson, tennessee on 9/28/2018. We were stopped(stationary)at the light on oil well drive and 45 bypass. While we were at the light, the car started going in reverse and my friend asked me "doris, why are we going backwards?" a few seconds later, the car's notification system gave a message for transmission problems and please move the car to safety. After I stepped on the brakes to stop the car, it shot forward and we managed to get to the nearest parking lot. Roadside assistance called a towing company, and they pulled it to golden circle auto group, where I had purchased the car from in 2013. The problem was supposed to be fixed by them, and another Ford dealership, steve marsh Ford was the last one to do repair work on the car. I paid them $700. 00, and they said that I need another $2000. The car does not run, and is sitting in my yard. I have had problems with this lemon ever since I bought it in 2013.
