The contact owns a 2012 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact used excessive force to steer the vehicle off to the shoulder of the highway and failed to restart after multiple attempts. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to the contact's home. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 18v735000(fuel system, diesel) which she linked to her failure. The dealer nor manufacturer were notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.
