Interior Lighting problem #1

The fuse for my dash and night runner lights blow and replaced the fuse about 4 or 5 times then the wiring caught on fire that was 6 months ago got it fixed and now my dash and night runners lights have stop working again changed the fuse and they are not working still and I cant move the shifter this car isn't safe anymore and I need a safe car for my daughter and I.

The indicator lights on the instrument panel for the high beam headlight and turn signals were not bright enough.

Inside courtesy light would come on and remain on intermittently while driving. Dealer notified. Feel free to provide any further information on this matter.

After 6 months of purchase, the brake system specifically rotors failed. While applying brakes there was a constant grinding noise, resulting in extended stopping distance before vehicle came to a complete stop. Mechanic stated Ford Focus had these common problems, also experiencing other problems such as erratic speedometer failure, an the interior light fell out from roof of vehicle, and 2 inches of water entering from side of door.

Nothing but problems with the car. First noticed leak in the floorboard on the front passenger side as the dealer detailed car. Interior dome light fell off soon after, followed by the fuel gate door and the left drivers side mirror. Now my transmission has blown up, all while going 25 mph or under, and all under 21,000 miles! we've had a major recall on average every other month too. What a lemmon!.

Driver's door sensor would indicate that the door would be ajar when its not. This causes interior lights to stay on. Its an intermittent problem. Owner disabled mechanism for interior lights. Took vehicle to dealership, informed by mechanic that problem could not be located.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a maintenance check. Two days later the vehicle safety light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer but they could not determine the problem.
