The contact owns a 2014 Ford focus. The contact stated while driving 45 mph, the low battery warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle decelerated independently and came to a stop on the side of the road. The contact stated that the battery was drained. The vehicle was not drivable and was left at that location for three days. The contact stated he was able to recharge the battery and drove to his residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

My vehicle experienced a stop safely now message while driving. Power were cut off and the vehicle stalled in moving traffic. My vehicle had done a recall on the power harness to address the stop safely now issue but I don't think the recall fixed it completely.

Just turned in an original charging cord under recall (the cords plug would tend to overheat and was a potential fire hazard) and got a brand new cord from ken grody Ford, carlsbad, CA. My first thought when looking at the new cord was that the electrical cord (19' long part) looked unusually thin. With the new cord, the approx 19' part of the cord gets warm, all 19 feet! they obviously used too small of a wire gauge in the new cord, and this in itself is a safety hazard in my opinion. I specialize in selling electric cars, and I'm always charging various makes and models in my garage on a 15amp/110v dedicated circuit, and have no issues with other charging cords.

So I was driving home last night in the rain and the speedometer was jumping around a little and the traction control flashed a couple times and I thought 'OH it's just cause the rain' well today the same thing was happening while I was driving. Then I got a warning light saying 'low brake fluid' and the brakes locked up while I was doing 30mph. It went away and drove fine but it will pop up every 4 miles or so saying low brake fluid.

I experienced what others have called the �stop safely now� warning light and followed by the loss power and steering issues on city street. This issue happened many times recently on the local streets (March - April, 2019). Thanks god, this didn't happen on the freeway ( otherwise, I can't image what could happen). I found the TSB 17-0045 online for this problem and brought this TSB to my dealership. They charged me $$ to get this car fixed by following the instruction of this TSB ( hopefully this got fixed). TSB 17-0045 specified the cars built 9/15-2011 to 8/15/2014 may have this issue. My car was built on June 2014. I strongly request NHTSA investigate this urgent safety issue.

Driving my vehicle in normal conditions with over 30 miles left to a charge on a suburban street going approximately 45 miles per hour, suddenly a red triangle warning appeared on the dash stating stop safely now. 60 seconds later the vehicle shut off and I lost all power leaving me stranded in the dark in the middle of the street. After about 20 minutes I was able to restart the vehicle and proceed home. There is never any prior warning to this happening. This has happened 3 times to me within a 2 month period and I have taken it to my dealership twice with no results. I drive 40 miles to work one way on very busy phoenix freeways and am petrified this will happen in the hov lane and I end up in a dangerous situation. I have found this to be an issue on previous years model recall no 13v-523000. The dealership is no help and told me they could find no information regarding it even though I did.

On 4 separate occasions since purchasing this vehicle on 9/22/2017, the car while in motion has abruptly and unexpectedly lost all power and rolled to a complete stop. When this happens a warning indicator on the dash reads "stop safely now"! once stopped, the car is unresponsive and cannot be turned off or restarted. Only after several minutes of waiting (5+ mins), the car responds again, allowing a restart. Thankfully, in all four instances, I have been traveling on city streets and have been able to pull to the side of the road safely, but this is a very dangerous situation, as the car loses all power and once stopped it will not respond.

Vehicle has experienced several instances where a �stop safely now� error appears on dashboard. When stationary, this prevents vehicle from starting. When in motion, power steering is disabled and braking is more difficult. Separately, the vehicle frequently indicates an abs warning light while driving at approximately 45 mph in city driving. Further error messages occur regarding loss of traction control, usually occurring at around 5 mph in neighborhood.

I bought this car at Honda in arlington off of 20 hwy in 2013 I took it back when I bought it that was pre used , and then it seem like they did not want it back and never want to fix it . And the trans mission is not want to put due to a loud noise, and then the truck want open and the light wanted go off and the alarm want come on, taken to don davis and they want to charge me and I am disable, and I have my little grandchild that is 6 months old and she ride everyday and I hope we don't get in this car. Please help us I have put this on many times. The door was a recall and when to don davis and they are have way fix. Please help!!!!!!!!.

This car, I have been trying to get help for a long time and it seem like not one has heard me , not even the dealer, and now hear it is my car is having trouble like the trunk wont open and we tide a stream on it and the lights stay on over a hour. And car jerk when takeing off in speed when change gears.
