Headlight lenses have faded real bad, making it unsafe to drive at night.
Tl-the contact owns a 2005 Ford Freestar. The contact stated while driving 10 mph, there was an abnormal noise. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 123,000. Pam.
Consumer complained about vibration problems. The steering wheel vibrated and vehicle shuttered. Consumer took vehicle to the dealership three days after purchasing it. The dealership kept the car for 5 days and could not figure out what the problem was. The dealer changed the rotors twice and changed the tires. Consumer took the vehicle back to the dealer, and the dealership had the car for 17 days. The Ford representative came to the dealership and put the vehicle on the diagnostic machine and the Ford representative seemed to think that was the tires. Consumer was suppose to pick up the car but was hesitant because of the tire problem. Consumer noticed that there were other complaints on this same problem.
Suspension shook at 60 mph, making it difficult to control the vehicle. Manufacturer was contacted by owner. The vehicle vibrates and shakes after hitting bumps. Vibration causes head rests to extend at times.
